Well, i was doing something faulty, i did correct it and its connected. :).

I already increased it to 15. something else is wrong. BTW i used simhost 
application and changed the code to act as lwip socket server.

Check you lwipopt.h file. You probably don't have enough SYS_TIMEOUT memory
