As far as I can see, this is not normal. Since MEMP_NUM_TCP_PCB is
large enough, you probably are hitting some other limit (memory?)
What exactly is happening? Is the overlapped connection fully
established (SYN-SYN/ACK-ACK)? Does the GET request come through? At
which point is the connection reset?
I attached a wireshark file at my 1st posting. SYN is ok. GET is not
ACK, but there are 2 RSTs! I'm not sure where the GET fails.
