i started in etharp.c where netif->linkout is being called by etharp_raw. i then traced it xlltemacif.c, xlltemacif_sdma.c, xlldma_bdring.c in that order. In bdring.c it seems to succesfully write to the register tell the temac to begin processing the packet. Yet, i get nothing in wireshark.
