Hello, I am having a peculiar problem with IP address assignment which is as follows.
If i connect the LAN cable to my controller board and a PC, and then power it on, my controller board gets the IP address. If i don't do this, it doesn't get a IP address. My default static IP address i store in a flash, and read it from there on start up. Can anyone give some pointers as to what may be the probable reasons for this?. I am using lwip - 1.3.1 .
