I agree.
I think this tries to use the DNS where any number of UDP-based
request-response data exchange protocols (e.g., COAP over UDP,as Andrew
notes) is already intended (or could be trivially created).
Although I support the use of the DNS for goofy demonstrations of what
not to do*, taking this seriously seems like a bad idea.
