I just noticed that we still have lxc-checkpoint and lxc-restart in the upstream branch, as far as I know those two only work with patched kernel using a patchset which hasn't been updated in ages.
I'd recommend we get those two tools out of our codebase for the time being and only bring them back to life once we have CRIU support in liblxc and can base their replacements on that API. Any objections? -- Stéphane Graber Ubuntu developer http://www.ubuntu.com
