lxc ist no full virtualization and has only a chrooted file system. (with special namespace seperation but same kernel) So if you need other kernel then host you have to use a full virtualization software like xen.

Hi all,
I am curious about why Containers have to run the same kernel as the host. Is there anyone can answer my question? Thanks
