Can we help with lxc package in debian?
wiki for compilation and packaging?

2015-05-03 21:39 GMT+02:00 Xavier Gendre <gendre.rei...@gmail.com>:
The package lxc 1.0.7 has recently changed from experimental to unstable,

https://packages.debian.org/sid/lxc

We can hope that it will be soon available in jessie-backports... After
1.0.7, the next version is 1.1.0. Thus, with a bit of patience, i think that
we will see this version in some repository sooner. It has to be seen with
Daniel Baumann who maintains the package lxc for Debian (maybe he has
subscribed to this list).

About this last point, i deeply thank Daniel Baumann for its work around the
lxc package ;-)

Hi,

I need the current Debian stable (jessie) from the LXC download

How do I get it?

I can help building it.
What is the governance model for maintaining the images on

Debian Jessie images are available on the image server, but only for
users of LXC 1.1 or higher as jessie uses systemd which isn't supported
in LXC prior to 1.1 (combined with lxcfs).

What's the most sane path to get 1.1 on debian, then?

Sincerely, Joh
