it helped so far, that autofs5 installs without error an /dev/autofs will be
created in the container:

r...@cc2,~: ls -l /dev/auto*
crw------- 1 root root 10, 57 Sep 24 11:33 /dev/autofs

When I change into the automount directory, it still hangs without any trace
in the logs neither on the host, nor on the fileserver.
In the container, the log says:

Sep 24 11:33:35 cc2 automount[3329]: Starting automounter version 5.0.4, master 
map /etc/auto.master
Sep 24 11:33:35 cc2 automount[3329]: using kernel protocol version 5.01
Sep 24 11:33:35 cc2 automount[3329]: mounted indirect on /net with timeout 300, 
freq 75 seconds
