Yeah, lxc is kinda like btrfs. You need to keep upgrading your kernel
or risk run into a known bug :P

What OS is your host running, btw?

For rhel/centos, kernel-ml should be good.

For Ubuntu/Debian, kernel mainline should be usable (although it might
not fit nicely if you have some applications that uses their own
kernel module, like virtualbox).
