I noticed that lxc-start complains if the empty directory /usr/lib/lxc/root
does not exist.

I also noticed that the file /usr/lib/lxc/README says "This directory
must exist, even though no contents are ever placed here."

Should README say something different, e.g. "The 'root' subdirectory
must exist...", or should it be moved into the root directory?

Fun fact: I noticed this when I did
  sudo rmdir /usr/lib/lxc/*
instead of
  sudo rmdir /var/lib/lxc/*
d'oh.
