Hi Good idea, but first the bug(s) must be fixed ;). So if anyone is familiar with C, try it.
I think the main problem is, that we need more C-devs. Then we need guidelines and wikipages, so that possible devs know how to help/code. I'm not familiar with C, so I don't know whats important in this guidelines or wikipages. But there is a disscusion(1) on the mailinglist on how the code should look like. Thats a good point to start. There is also a disscusion(2) on how to write lxpanel plugins. So if there are anyone who is a bit fimilar with C, give it a try, or join the disscussion, or write a wikipage. I will try it, too ;). maces (1) https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=9d9f04bb0903200044t103ca043ja8d7e8b9a7fe8f71%40mail.gmail.com&forum_name=lxde-list (2) https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=20090119073734.5af5c2be%40croc&forum_name=lxde-list On Fri, Mar 27, 2009 at 5:25 PM, Marty Jack <[email protected]> wrote: > I would suggest the best thing we could do for lxpanel right now is push > out a stable release with that crasher fixed.
