I can't exactly see what is wrong from the screenshot. "Still has problems" is
not the best bug report. It still grows over time? Things that were there get
damaged? I find that running with a separator on each side is a good way to
monitor that the allocation is correct. I have checked it out with all the
tray applications I have, which is four. What happens if you set autohide and
then clear it to get an expose event? Did you adjust the panel allocation and
this happened, or it happened by itself?

I have the taskbar icon grid changes and taskbar icon resize running here, but
not well checked out yet. Couple obvious things still wrong. Should be ready
to go soon, I hope. I also found the left justify code that got lost when I
hacked out the angle readjust things.

As to the focus feedback, I realized it was not going to be very useful with
grouped tasks. My reasoning is that you also have the other feedback in the
title bar. We can discuss what the best thing to do with that is, but I am
inclined to think that most people will run with grouped tasks.

As to the name on grouped tasks, I'll look into wnck to see what they do,
although I still think having just the number looks appropriately minimalist
for LXDE. I know I saw a comment about elaborate heuristics to derive a name.
I think it's best to get the taskbar stacking working well first before I
tackle anything of a more cosmetic nature.
