As the wiki is explicitly GFDL 1.2 (not 1.2+ or anything) the content is not relicensable to CC-by-SA and/or GFDL 1.3. > Anyway, as far as I can see, there is no urgency changing as the GNU > FDL is compatible with CC-By-SA. I see no need at all to relicense the wiki to anything by now. Regarding the quoting and stuff mentioned by Medical-Wei I think it's none issue. As long it's not about moving contents into another media as complete "pages". Quoting is covered by standard copyright laws, and as long as the resulting document is GFDL 1.2 it's no problem at all to take information from our wiki and put it there. As the wiki has been open for edits from anonymous I think we will have problems contacting all editors. Some of the edits can probably be matched to core contributors and ruled out. The other parts have to be examined to settle if the texts are still in use or have been replaced by someone who would like to relicense. (I have more or less never been authenticated to the english wiki while doing edits, as an example =)) -- brother ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
