Yes, it's intended. Maybe later we'll have
/usr/include/libfm/some-other-sub-project. Who knows?

Ooooops, that one was planned and I forgot to fix it.
OK, let's make an exception here. I'll try to make it work. If I
failed, I'll try to make it disabled before final release.

The name PCMan File Manager is meaningless for users.
The users just want their file manager and they should be able to find
a menu entry for it. I bet for new users they don't know what's PCMan.
In additon, using "Program Name" + "Its Usage" like "PCManFM" + "FIle
Manager" in Name key is kind of abuse of desktop entry spec. The name
of the program is PCManFM, and "File Manager" should be GenericName.
However, Gnome promoted this kind of abuse in their guidelines and
this causes some confusion and make things messy.
For me, what the program is called doesn't matter. The users should be
able to find what they need. File Manager IMO is the most intuitive
menu entry title. That's why I did it. For a basic program which is
the core of the desktop, branding is not important and a more
user-friendly name is needed.

Before stable release, it will be called pcmanfm2 to make the new
version and the older one coexist. However, I'll rename it back to
pcmanfm before the final stable release when it's ready for daily
production use.

Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval
Try the new software tools for yourself. Speed compiling, find bugs
proactively, and fine-tune applications for parallel performance.
See why Intel Parallel Studio got high marks during beta.
