1. Tell him ti use the latest pcmanfm, 0.9.5
2. Ask him if he has all necessary parts of hal installed. In
Fedora hal was split into hal and hal-addon-storage and the
latter is required for handling removable media.
3. As it affects both Thunar and pcmanfm, it's likely not a pcmanfm
bug.
