When I'm rewriting lxpanel (lxpanel2 project), I did the battery
applet with dbus/upower rather than polling sysfs directly.
It looks ok and upower is easy enough to use.
I, however, start to think that is a battery panel applet the right thing to do?
Shouldn't this battery info display be done by a power manager instead?
If we have a power manager, it can show a status icon for battery info
in systray.
Besides, the battery icon can interact well with the power manager,
too, not just showing remaining battery time.
So I actually think that the battery applet should be removed from the
panel and the functionality should be
moved into a power manager instead, if we have one later.

Any thoughts?
