I'm not asking for icons to be half on one monitor and half on the
other. I'd be perfectly happy to have them all stuck on the left-hand
monitor. (Goodness knows, KDE 4 almost didn't implement support for
putting icons on my second monitor before I got fed up and switched to
LXDE.)

I just don't want every single icon to show up twice because I have two
monitors or thrice if I decide to plug in a third via my onboard GPU.

Huh. That's what I get for unsubscribing on the assumption that
EVERYTHING was being cross-posted here, I guess.

Do you know if GMane, Thunderbird, or any Thunderbird extension can do
de-duplication between two NNTP newsgroups?

I get enough of that just from Thunderbird's misunderstanding of how
Read/Unread state interacts with GMail's All Mail folder.

I'll excuse it because I'm on your PPA and, therefore, you're the only
target user who really matters... but if it makes it into a release,
then it's a regression and attempts to re-spin it will only damage your
credibility.

(Regressions are in the eye of the user. I run LXDE because I want to
get work done and I'm on your PPA because its copy of PCManFM crashes
less often.)
