Hi,

I have installed Lxrandr recently in several Ubuntu Precise boxes and it does
not keep
the configuration. Wether I use "apply" or "save" or even start it with a
"gksu" when I
restart the session the resolution is back to what it was just before.

Of course if the machine gets the right one automatically this is not a
problem, but then
Lxrandr is not needed.

Here a thread where it has been talked about:
http://www.linuxvillage.net/t277-Ubuntu-Openbox-Remix-to-test.htm#p2279

« Screen resolution change doesn't survive logout. »

It is not an Lxde box, does Lxrandr need a full environment to be working ? Or
is it an
issue appeared recently ?

Regards,
Mélodie
