I would like to announce that I have recently joined the LXDE team as the new maintainer for lxpanel. As my time on this is rather limited, I cannot promise to do much. Surely this will work to our advantage as there won't be many regressions. :) Indeed, my main goal is to have a stable panel. I welcome contributions, especially if they are small bug fixes. And if you have commit access, go forth and push, provided the changes are good. No need to coordinate with me. As my first action, I have uploaded version 0.5.12. Let's hope I didn't mess up! And please tell me if I did. The major improvement is Giuseppe's xkb plugin rewrite. Also, note that all this is for the old gtk-2 panel, not the new one.
