    It will be based on Qt later on, the work is still in progress. And
GTK will still go on and support will be continued in any case.

    GTK3 is definitely not good. It is bloated and unstable. It's why we
decided to not support it. Only GTK2 is fully supported. Yes, some of the
LXDE parts can be built with GTK3 (pcmanfm for example) but don't expect
them to be the same bugless as they are with GTK2.

    Almost every thing is optional, and even some are just experimental.
Visit the http://wiki.lxde.org/en/Status_of_LXDE_Components page to see
the status of each component so you can decide if you want it to be on
your system.
