I think it should be discussed if we should remove that optimization
at all and use non-stripped .glade files directly. The only reason why
that xml-purge is used is to reduce size of UI files removing whitespaces
(including newlines) between XML tags. Those whitespaces are ignored in
any case but stripping them reduces file size by almost two times.
