    I believe any option is for reason and if it does not work then it
should be fixed. I always follow this rule, you know, and I fix optional
configuration if they tell me it's broken before any other bugs.

And since we are here about lxpanel... We got someone in IRC today:

the past couple of days. lxpanel no longer displays after I login. If I
manually start it, it displays with no errors, but the panel is completely
blank.
