There is no gtk-doc build dependency if you use --disable-gtk-doc in
configure script parameters. Unfortunately gtk-doc required to build the
configure script itself (what is done by autogen.sh) and that cannot be
avoided. Use released tarball if you want to avoid the dependency, it's
all what you can do with it.
