I have some news for you.
1. Hosting:
Martin (brother) already got the root access to our own server, but things
are not completely set up because he is now dealing with some very
important private things in his real life. :-) So let's wait.
2. Git submodules:
After reading some git turorials and the manual, I noticed that the
previous info I wrote in the README file of lxde-qt repo is incorrect. Now
I know how to avoid detached branches and other problems.
We need to add --rebase option to the command line and the updated modules
will stay in master branch instead of being detached. I also fixed some
problems in obconf, lximage-qt, and lxinput-qt so there translation update
process do not interfere with the git workflow.
The updated info about how to use the lxde-qt repo with git submodule is

To update all of the components to the latest git HEAD with a single
command, use:
> git submodule update --init --remote --rebase
So now git submodules should work as expected.
