Hello! Giuseppe Penone has written on Wednesday, 19 February, at 23:04: >I will be happy if you will have some time to look at the launchtaskbar >code and >finally decide if it's worth to do the step to remove launchbar and taskbar >or not.
You remember, we discussed it already - as soon launchtaskbar instance will be able to work as separate launchbar or separate taskbar (with the same functionality so users will not see any panel behavior changes after upgrade) we can safely remove both those plugins but have them as alias to launchtaskbar instead. So let do it such way, please. That is not a question of code but question of design, I always prefer to create design first, then code, not other way around when design is created by the code and it's why I always create convenient API first and only after that I make an implementation. You might notice that already. :) >If launchbar and taskbar will not be removed and continue their way I may >still >work in launchtaskbar but I would remove the option to work in 3 different >ways >and instead would integrate them much more to make the launchbutton and the >taskbutton >not only connected but be just one. The best way would be to support 3 different ways (launchbar, taskbar, and abovementioned way with integrated buttons) and that should be able to select in configuration dialog, and selection of some way will then make some options clickable but some not, and also context menu on the buttons will change of course. That's my opinion. >Cheers, >Giuseppe.
