Hey all, Trying to compile pcmanfm-qt from git today, noticed it failed to compile without >=libfm-1.2.0 that must be compiled with vala support.. Cmake doesn't catch this anywhere.. prior to install
It seems to require a missing libfm/fm-actions.h this file appears to only be created when vala is used in the libfm compile. Here is the output ----------------- [ 29%] Building CXX object libfm-qt/CMakeFiles/fm-qt.dir/filemenu.cpp.o cd /var/tmp/portage/lxde-base/pcmanfm-qt-9999/work/pcmanfm-qt-9999_build/libfm-qt && /usr/bin/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-g++ -DLIBFM_DATA_DIR=\"/usr/share/libfm-qt\" -DLIBFM_QT_COMPILATION=1 -DQT_CORE_LIB -DQT_DBUS_LIB -DQT_GUI_LIB -DQT_NO_KEYWORDS -Dfm_qt_EXPORTS -DNDEBUG -fvisibility=hidden -fvisibility-inlines-hidden -fno-exceptions -fPIC -isystem /usr/include/qt4 -isystem /usr/include/qt4/QtGui -isystem /usr/include/qt4/QtDBus -isystem /usr/include/qt4/QtCore -I/usr/include/qt4/QtDesigner -I/usr/include/qt4/QtDeclarative -I/usr/include/qt4/QtScriptTools -I/usr/include/qt4/QtXml -I/usr/include/qt4/QtSql -I/usr/include/qt4/QtOpenGL -I/usr/include/qt4/QtNetwork -I/usr/include/qt4/QtXmlPatterns -I/usr/include/qt4/QtWebKit -I/usr/include/qt4/QtHelp -I/usr/include/qt4/QtUiTools -I/usr/include/qt4/QtTest -I/usr/include/qt4/QtScript -I/usr/include/qt4/QtSvg -I/usr/include/qt4/Qt3Support -I/usr/share/qt4/mkspecs/default -I/usr/include/gio-unix-2.0 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/libfm -I/var/tmp/portage/lxde-base/pcmanfm-qt-9999/work/pcmanfm-qt-9999_build/libfm-qt -I/var/tmp/portage/lxde-base/pcmanfm-qt-9999/work/pcmanfm-qt-9999/libfm-qt -o CMakeFiles/fm-qt.dir/filemenu.cpp.o -c /var/tmp/portage/lxde-base/pcmanfm-qt-9999/work/pcmanfm-qt-9999/libfm-qt/filemenu.cpp /var/tmp/portage/lxde-base/pcmanfm-qt-9999/work/pcmanfm-qt-9999/libfm-qt/filemenu.cpp:27:30: fatal error: libfm/fm-actions.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated. ---------------------- Am I missing something here? Is vala really required for this? This all started because I wanted to take a look at lximage-qt which requires pcmanfm-qt (or at least libfm-qt) Thanks for any input, Harvey ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Subversion Kills Productivity.
