Hello Alexis López Zubieta, What's the status of your Qt5 at the moment? Are you using the Qt5 port of liblxqt left by Sokoloff in his branch or your own fork? We already start merging the changes in Sokoloff's branch to the main repo of liblxqt. https://github.com/lxde/liblxqt/tree/qt5 Besides, there are some minor changes in liblxqt, too. So we need to talk to you first to avoid potential conflicts. Maybe we can work together landing Qt5 support on the main repo of liblxqt. Then you can continue the Qt5 port of lxqt-panel with the new liblxqt? Besides, I have some ideas for the X11 part. Porting to Xcb may not be mandatory. Actually xcb and xlib can work together. The only part needs to be re-written with xcb is the X11 event filter. Other Xlib calls and xfitman stuff should just work as usual so we don't need to waste our time porting them to Xcb. How's your progress on the kwinsystem support? I'd like to work with you to get lxqt-panel support Qt5. Where should I start.
