Yes, I am aware of that little dialog. But this functionality relies on
lxqt-globalkeysd being running. That's not a big deal per se, its memory
footprint is ridiculous by nowadays standards. But then I will have to keep
an eye on two sets of key bindings: openbox and lxqt-globalkeysd, and
double check that they do not overlap...
I all for keeping things simple so...
As an example, regular lxpanel from the original lxde comes with an
lxpanelctl tool, and by invoking it this way the menu popups inmediatly:
$ lxpanelctl menu
The xfce regular menu and the xfce whisker menu both have a similar command
line tool.
That's what I am after.
