I haven't had very much luck with connman and wasn't impressed with
anything I saw as far as development.

I am currently using wpa_supplicant's wpa_gui which is entirely written
in qt, and for ethernet i run ifplugd daemon..

These two together work great for me in lxqt. I also believe wpa_gui
would be a great candidate for forking and creating a lxqt-network-manager.
