Hi, i use lxqt since 5 months now, and i can say that i replaced my old environment(kde) with success! I am still with the 0.7.0 version, i will update to 0.8.0 soon as it is available for update in Mageia 5.
Here is a simple application which shows the weather icon and temperature in the system tray: https://github.com/dglent/meteo-qt It fits pretty well with lxqt :) I have used qt4, i plan to migrate it to qt5 soon...
