Hi list Everything should be back up and running for the last couple of hours. This is a big upgrade, quick list of changes:
* Setup has been upgraded to gitolite3. This is mostly a nicety admin-wise. * Read-only git (non-http) access no longer needs a git/ prefix. For example, git://git.lxde.org/git/lxde/lxtask.git becomes git://git.lxde.org/lxde/lxtask.git. Both URIs will work for a very long time in order to ensure backwards compatibility. * I've given gitweb a facelift. it's based on @kogakure/gitweb-theme, slightly modified for better accessibility. I'm very open to feedback on it - if nobody likes it, it'll get reverted of course. But it's nice to have a few web pages that don't look like they're out of the 90s. Example here: http://git.lxde.org/gitweb/?p=lxde/lxqt-panel.git;a=shortlog * The gitweb homepage is gone, now redirects straight to the project list. * Read-only git links no longer begin their path with git/. Before: git://git.lxde.org/git/lxde/lxqt-panel.git - After: git://git.lxde.org/lxde/lxqt-panel.git. Both URIs will, of course, still work for a very long time. Finally, a two-way mirror has been set up **only for the pcmanfm-qt repository**. That means you can now push to the pcmanfm-qt repository on github (https://github.com/lxde/pcmanfm-qt/) and git.lxde.org will fetch the changes. Our dear HelixBot will still automatically push to github when you push to git.lxde.org, so changes will propagate no matter what. I'm very excited about this. I want you guys to test this as much as you can, see if you can break it and how. Once we know it works fine, this will be extended to all LXQt repositories. J.
