Well, honestly, I'm with LXDE since around 2011 and I never got any
of such things on my desktop from LXDE. May be it was much earlier if you
say it is so. Or may be your distro brought them for you. I used only
Debian and Ubuntu so cannot tell about other distros. Anyway, I just made
a suggestion to remove it, that will never hurt. And I'm sorry for any
possible misunderstanding.

I suppose in LXQt it is.
