Hello list! I did a fresh install (Gentoo) with LXQt on an older laptop. Two things are not working and I am not sure what I forgot. 1. battery status (have to check kernel config I think...) lxqt power management sais it doesnt see a battery. 2. Shutdown I start lxqt with startx, so no login manager here. My xinitrc file looks like: exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch --exit-with-session startlxqt
My user is in power group, but when clicking on shutdown I just get the dialog which asks me whether I really want to do this. But it does not shutdown. Am I missing any important packages for this? pm-utils is installed.
