Title: Automation through bash commands: am/pm system wide themes.

I use Lubuntu 14.04 and I enjoy using night themes. However every
time I enter into night mode I have to switch the following three
programs the manual and old-fashioned/slow GUI method:

1) Start Button | Preferences | Customize Look and feel(lxappearance) |
Widget | Select your choice | Apply | Close (seven steps)

Is there a command that I can enter into terminal to achieve this?
If so users could create a bash script and then change the cumbersome
above procedure to a one-click action. Feel free to peruse/respond to
the following thread I have created recently on www.linuxquestions.org:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-laptop-and-netbook-25/any-command-to-switch-day-and-night-system-themes-4175555250/

P.S.- 1) I noticed how your wiki(http://wiki.lxde.org/) is down, will
this ever go back online again?

Andrew
