Couldn't agree more. FWIW I'm right now busy revamping page "Building from Source". It comes with so many flaws that we should actually first discuss how to deal with it in a Forum (which we don't feature yet) or a mailing list. But as I think we really should improve this page before releasing 0.11 in order not to frustrate users too much I've started working on this page nevertheless.
