I've written a revised version of wiki page "Building from source" which
didn't seem to work any longer.
As this involved major changes and the wiki unfortunately doesn't
feature branches or PRs I've uploaded a draft to my personal GitHub
account at https://github.com/pmattern/lxqt/wiki. Probably some more
changes will be force-pushed so it may be better not to clone but read
on github.com only for now.

The sections about compiling components individually were condensed to
some general instructions as component specific details should be taken
from the respective README.md by now. Compiling Qt was removed due to
the reasons stated in the page itself.
Following the revised version I've successfully installed latest VCS
checkouts of LXQt on Arch Linux, Debian stretch, Ubuntu 16.04 and
openSUSE Tumbleweed. Testing on Fedora is pending.

While at I've restructured parts of the wiki to make it more
comprehensive.
An individual sidebar is grouping the existing pages by topic. To my
knowledge a sidebar like this has to be maintained manually, still I
think it makes sense.
Installation was summed up in three dedicated pages, the information
about binary packages was removed from the home page that way.

Please give feedback what you think about these changes and whether they
should be pushed to the LXQt wiki.
