Hello world!
I want to introduce myself, my name is Edson Contreras and due to changes
in my workplace I had to buy a spare laptop to access my mail and study in
my commute. Originally this was not in my plans, so I picked a cheap
cloudbook with very low specs.
After using xfce on it the first month (xubuntu 16.04-LTS) I started with
the idea of getting involved, but since I'm a Qt developer I wanted to look
for other desktop environments that use it. That's how I got to LxQt.
My machine is an Acer Cloudbook AO1-131 series. Like most of cloudbooks, it
does not have RJ45 connector and it just has wifi. The only distro that was
easy to install was ubuntu and as I installed xfce first and then LxQt the
system went very unstable and I would like to start over fully focused in
LxQt.
After this introduction I would like to ask:
- Since I want to re-image my cloudbook, which OS do you recommend me in
order to use LxQt and contribute?
- Do you have a list of easy (but commited) bugs in order to start reading?
Thanks for your help and support.
