Hi,
does anybody have a clean setup for lxde and ssh/gpg agents for both local
and remote? Here's what I'm seeing on a default setup on lubuntu 16.04
1) lxsession is started wrapped in ssh-agent such as: /usr/bin/ssh-agent
/usr/bin/dbus-launch --exit-with-session /usr/bin/sogou-session
/usr/bin/im-launch /usr/bin/lxsession -s Lubuntu -e LXDE . This seems to be
controlled by xsession and the start-ssh setting.
2) right after that process I also see a "bare" ssh-agent -s process . I've
no idea what spins this up. I've looked at autostart settings but ssh-agent
is not selected as far as I can see
3) if at this point I open a terminal that seems to work, however this
won't work if I ssh in, only if I login through the desktop. This makes
sense I guess since the ssh-agent selected is connected to the desktop
session. Is there any way I can automagically tap into the DM's env
variable so that ssh agent's env vars will work when connecting through
ssh? It seems some of this should work with dbus, which the process above
shows as wrapping the desktop session.
thank you for your thoughts,
Spike
