Indeed the dependencies you are stating don't really seem to make sense. 
But they are a downstream issue, probably due to the still ongoing 
transition from LXDE to LXQt of Lubuntu. As such they are not covered by 
this mailing list which is focusing on the upstream development of LXQt.
You may want to discuss the problem with the Lubuntu developers. To get 
in contact you may search the web, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/LXQt 
and the links this page provides are probably a good starting point.
