I'm afraid this might be already known but when I tried to
visit www.google.com with lynx-cur 2.8.6dev.2 it displaied

Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request.

and failed to show the page.
My system is Debian GNU/Linux with gcc (GCC) 3.3.3 (Debian 20040429),
libncursesw5 5.4-3, libc6 2.3.2.ds1-12, libgnutls7 0.8.12-5
