I don't recall the original discussion (why it was deemed unsuitable - perhaps because it duplicates a setting in lynx.cfg). I've been bogged down in xterm, meaning to work on the options menu (so it will look ok in Japanese, for example). Perhaps I'll get that done this weekend. I spent a chunk of time last week finding that one odd thing I noticed is an old bug (setting locale to UTF-8 and running lynx -dump doesn't wrap any lines). -- Thomas E.
