The thing is that "Advanced" doesn't control whether [O]ptions does or doesn't
flush out to disk and write out a new .lynxrc; it's simply a display and
presentation setting for users familiar with the keystrokes; a kinder vi?

The whole Novice/Intermediate/Advanced thing isn't done anywhere else AFAICT,
which is a shame, and documenting its conveniences keeps lynx moving.
