That is the source code for unix installation - it's not for WinXP.
There are win32 sources available from the main lynx.isc.org page, and some
links to win32 binaries I believe.
You might want to get a unix shell account and use lynx from there if you just
want to use the "real view" you get with lynx.

Yeah sorry Win xp Pro SP2 downloaded Lynx 2.8.6 opened unzipped the files
and started reading the read me and installation docs but they dont make any
sense. Maybe your programme is for seriously advanced Webmasters and wont
make sense to normal IT guys like myself. If there is an easy install that
