2.8.6dev.15 is current. I added the --with-build-cc option to lynx in
2.8.6dev.1
For 2.8.6dev.15:

Thanks for the pointer, and excellent code.
I saw some problems when downloading compressed web pages, but I assume I
need a configure option for where zlib lives.
