Lynx neither implements EcmaScript, nor does its internal structure
correspond well with the W3C, IE and Mozilla document object models and
Mozilla and IE browser object models, which, in combination create
what is popularly known as JavaScript. Sites that are dependent on
scripting, are, whilst very common, in my view broken. However you
will get no sympathy from most webmasters who don't care about
anything but unfirewalled, out of the box, IE 6.

The same applies to sites that depend on Java (or Flash), but note that
there is nothing in common between Java and JavaScript except a naming
similarity.
