I'm not using X-windows at all; it's not installed.
It's my understanding that using ghostview requires X-windows
since ghostview is a graphics program. I used to use it a lot
when I had X-windows and KDE installed. I would be happy to
find out that ghostview works in 24x80 text mode too.
