That's relatively hard: I have a to-do list of items that aren't in email, but generally my process for working on a patch starts by collecting all of the email since the last to-do list, and using that (along with various notes) as the basis of the to-do list (removing messages that did not relate to a bug report or fix of course).

I forgot to mention scanning the bug-reporting systems (Debian, Redhat,
Gentoo have useful ones, other packagers less so...).

Anyway the point is that I have a lot of unorganized data collected between development sessions...
