This does not happen if you leave out the underscore
in the second parameter.
The lynx browser does not parse php, that is the webserver's job.
No browser is aware of how it is served html, nor should it be. Webservers
can run perl as .php, and serve php from .pl if desired; lynx will ignore php
tags if they are not server-parsed.
Can you let us know the expected result?
