Please check your lynx.cfg file. It sounds as if you have
"COOKIE_STRICT_INVALID_DOMAINS" set. You probably want
"COOKIE_LOOSE_INVALID_DOMAINS" or "COOKIE_QUERY_INVALID_DOMAINS".
